Tina-Marie Wassman



Principal + Founder





Tina began her career in event management on the client side and brings this level of expertise and insight to each event. Career highlights include managing all elements of numerous multi-million dollar events, both international and domestic, sales, management and technical conferences as well as high end incentive programs for a variety of industry leaders with attendance ranging from 10 to 3,500 people.


Although TNC Events is a newly formed company (formed in April 2016 to support clients abandoned by TBA Global when TBA suddenly closed and filed for bankruptcy), under Tina’s leadership and vision, it is already making its mark in the industry with a team of seasoned senior level event managers and an established loyal client base.


Tina has a 360 degree knowledge and experience in meetings, incentives and events, sharing that expertise and insight with her team and every client she works with. As Principal for TNC Events, she oversees a team of accomplished professionals who manage the meeting and event logistics for multiple clients. With over 20 years’ experience in meetings and events management, she brings her unique leadership and client relationship building skills, as well as her attention to detail to the flawless execution of each event she oversees to ensure that the client’s expectations are always exceeded.



Brien Wassman



Business Development & Accounting Director





Brien and Tina met as Travel Directors many years ago on a Cadillac Dealer Incentive program in the Detroit area. Brien is a degreed civil engineer and has had an accomplished career in construction management, as a licensed builder. He continues to operate as a commercial and residential building inspector for many ongoing projects contributing to the rebirth currently happening in downtown Detroit.


Back in April of 2016, when TBA Global closed their doors and Tina was reflecting on her next steps, Brien fully encouraged the opening of TNC Events with his “back of house” support, offering to handle the accounting, invoicing and payroll needs. With his support, along with the support of our dedicated team and our loyal client relationships, TNC Events was born.

​ In addition, Brien is the master networker – especially in the Michigan community. He also heads up Business Development for TNC Events, guiding, navigating and leveraging client relationships.



Alissa Campbell



Event Manager





Alissa joined TNC in November of 2016 as a Meeting Planner and had supported our current clients for 4 years previously at TBA Global.


Since joining TNC she has led the planning efforts of multiple Fortune 100 clients’ events, from 10 to 2,800 attendees, including National Sales Meetings and Leadership Conferences. She has also helped build and manage mobile apps for a variety of our clients and their events.

Alissa brings a fresh and open perspective to every project she works on. She has become an invaluable member of the TNC team. Alissa was promoted to Event Manager in July of 2020 as a result of her dedicated and tireless efforts.


Alissa graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Commercial Recreation and a Minor in Hospitality and Event Management. Prior to joining our team, Alissa did an internship at the Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head and with Habitat for Humanity.



KATHLEEN MEISSNER



Air Travel Supervisor





Kathy has been in the travel business for over 20 years specializing in corporate and group travel. She is an expert in fare discount negotiations, ticketing, and reporting and contributes 100 percent plus to guarantee that each program has been given the best discounts in the business. Prior to her work at TNC, Kathy was the Air Travel Supervisor at TBA Global for 15 years. Currently, she is responsible for booking and negotiating group and staff air travel for key clients.




MICHELE COVAULT-MOUNTAIN



Housing & Registration Manager





Michele has been in the travel industry for over 20 years and has a diverse, well rounded background, being part of the preplanning phase as well as onsite logistics and production support for many Fortune 100 clients, including General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Chipotle, IBM and others.​


As Registration Manager for TNC Events, Michele has managed registration and housing for groups of 10 to 2,800. Her strengths are anticipating issues and needs before they arise and having the ability to juggle many responsibilities and details at once, while under pressure. In addition to being the Housing & Registration Manager onsite, she is an incredible VIP Lead, F&B specialist and a team player. She has also helped build and manage mobile apps for a variety of our clients and their events.



Margaret roache



Senior Event Manager





As Senior Event Manager, Margaret is responsible for operations management for some of our key clients. She is an expert resource on hotels, destinations and off-site venues and maintains established strong relationships with top name hotel brands throughout the world. She has a knack in finding just the right venue that offers the best fit and solution for TNC clients and she is a shrewd contract negotiator, bringing a sharp eye to detail in ensuring that each contract is clear, concise and outlines the terms and conditions that best serve the client.

Margaret has been a member of the TNC family since September of 2016. Previously, she was with TBA Global for 15 years. Prior to that, she was a production and account manager for Caribiner. With a BFA in Theatre, she credits her training both behind the curtain and on stage for her strong organizational skills and creative ability to think outside the box and deliver results that meet and exceed the client’s expectations every time.

Senior Event Manager





Melissa has been in the event planning and corporate travel industry for the last 25 years of her career. She brings extensive event marketing experience servicing clientele in the automotive, tobacco, spirits, technology and financial services industries. Managing and executing business meetings and conferences, sales, service and parts contests, incentive trips, ride and drives, announcement shows, motor sports events, golf tournaments, dine-arounds, direct marketing and events associated with the North American International Auto Show.​


Melissa’s strengths and accomplishments have always been client service driven. She is focused on building long term client relationships and delivering flawless execution. She has been recognized for exceptional project management and organizational skills while delivering real results. Melissa joined TNC Events in September 2016 as Senior Event Manager working with established Fortune 100 clients.
